Life coaching doesn't just provide you with conversation. It provides you with an alternative perspective on your situation and support for change.
What can life coaching get for me in practice?
I don't like laying down empty promises. The idea of a life coach can seem vague, which is why I focus on the results.
Life coaching focuses on solution-oriented work, taking a client's resources and circumstances into account to create an actionable plan to bridge the gap between their current life and the life they want.
A big part of the process is maintaining accountability and analysing any setbacks that occur on the way.
Coaching provides a space for exploring, reflecting and deciding. My job as a coach is to prompt you towards self-exploration with appropriate questions and observations. It's a space where we don't focus as extensively on why you're experiencing a problem, rather what you can do to adapt and move forward. This is why some people prefer to work with both a therapist and a coach to address their needs more wholly. A life coaching isn't a replacement for conventional therapy, but a service that compliments it.
My practice doesn't just teach you theory, it teaches you my own life lessons. Of course, no two lives are the same, but the ability of being resilient in impossible situations is a skill that can be taught and passed forward.
What areas do you specialise in?
I primarily work with clients that:
...Are struggling with their interpersonal relationships and/or want to improve their communication skills.
...Have ADHD and need a coach that understands their specific needs and struggles.
...Are feeling stuck with their career.
If you:
Forcing change is rarely sustainable, which is why I focus on helping you build systems which are there to support your life instead of draining you.
